Having spent the morning reading all your lovely comments on our blog, I would just like to thank everyone for their kind words and encourage you all to continue commenting. I have also noticed that a few booking requests for courses seem to have gone unnoticed by us. Here, you will make plastic icing fairy figurines using moulds which give a beautiful dainty face. There are still places available so phone now to secure your spot! It’s never too early or too late to learn how to cover a cake with plastic icing. Come to our lovely three day course where you will learn to cover both a cake and a dummy. It’s getting towards that time of year again and across Jo’burg kitchens are filled with the sweet smell of christmas cake. As september/october is the time most people start baking their Christmas cakes, here at Kadies we have started filling our shelves with all the ingredients and decorations including fun and seasonal sugar art as well as brand new Christmas ribbons. Please note that we have added a few extra bits and bobs onto the requirement list for the upcoming Xmas cake decorating course. If you are coming to the course please go onto the course page to find anything you might need.
Also, unfortunately we have not managed to fill the Xmas cak course on the 8th, 15th and 22nd of October so please be aware that this course is CANCELLED.
We have now started compiling a catalogue of all our sugar art. It is a work in progress but you can now visit the sugar art page to view photos and prices of our most popular sugar art.

To those of you who haven’t had a chance to visit us yet this month, we are excited to announce the grand opening of our new and improved shop. Don’t panic, we haven’t moved far!
